My Friend’s Portrait

I want to draw my friend.

I take a pencil and a sheet of paper.

I draw two eyes, a nose and a mouth.

Oh, no! The nose is too long!

I take a rubber. I rub out the nose.

I draw the nose again.

Oh, no! Now the nose is too small!

I take a rubber. I rub out the nose again.

I draw the nose again.

Oh, no! Now the nose is too big!

I take a rubber. I rub out the nose again.

Oh, no! There is a hole in the paper.

I have an idea!

I take some red paper.

I take scissors and glue.

I cut out a red circle.

I glue it to the picture.

Now it is not my friend. It’s a clown!

I’ll draw my friend tomorrow!
